Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and skilled Freelance IT Technicians to support upcoming events. This role involves assisting with technical setup, equipment handling, onsite troubleshooting, and occasional warehouse or hand-carry tasks. Full training will be provided to ensure familiarity with our products prior to any onsite work.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the setup, configuration, and testing of event equipment, including IT, AV, networking, and other event technologies.
* Provide onsite technical support during live events.
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
* Support equipment pack-down, warehouse tasks, and hand-carry jobs as required.
* Work closely with event coordinators to ensure seamless event delivery.
Requirements / Skills
* Prior experience with IT or AV hardware setup and onsite support.
* Customer-facing experience is preferred (client or attendee interaction).
* Basic knowledge of IT products; full training will be provided.
* Flexibility to travel locally for hand-carry and ad hoc warehouse work.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Professional, punctual, and client-focused attitude.
* Physically capable of assisting with warehouse packing, equipment handling, and box disposal when required.
* Must wear appropriate PPE.
Training
Comprehensive product training will be provided to prepare you for onsite assignments.
Remuneration
* AU$32 per hour on weekdays
* AU$48 per hour on weekends
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
