Key responsibilities
Take the lead in managing daily operations across Vargas Restaurant, Bar, Room Service, and Conference & Events, ensuring every guest moment shines.
Champion excellence in food and beverage service, working alongside our talented kitchen team to deliver memorable dining experiences.
Inspire, coach, and empower our passionate Food & Beverage team to live the Holiday Inn promise — "Make Our Guests Smile".
Bring creativity to the table by developing and executing promotions, events, and upselling initiatives that drive revenue and guest engagement.
Take ownership of department performance, delivering strong guest satisfaction results while keeping costs and productivity on track.
Partner with the Executive Chef to craft seasonal menus and signature offers that showcase the best of our food and beverage story.
Help redefine the food and beverage experience for an upcoming hotel and restaurant refurbishment in ****, from concept to launch.
Qualifications
Previous leadership experience in Food and Beverage within a hotel or busy a la carte restaurant setting.
Higher education/qualification in Hospitality Management, Tourism or related field is highly advantageous.
Natural leadership style highlighting talent and opportunity within the team.
Strong communication skills – verbal and written and an ability to tailor your approach.
Passion for new and emerging food and beverage industry trends, practices and consumer behaviour.
Sound knowledge of PC software Microsoft Office products and POS systems.
Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
Valid Victorian RSA certificate.
Full working rights to work full time in Australia.
