We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman / Supervisor with extensive expertise in Bulk Excavation to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing excavation projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while leading a team of workers effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and supervise daily bulk excavation operations to ensure efficient project completion.
* Work across medium to large unit developments
* Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed on-site.
* Coordinate and communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
* Monitor and manage the work performance of crew members, providing guidance and support.
* Ensure the correct use of machinery and equipment in accordance with project requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of progress, materials used, and labor hours.
* Troubleshoot issues that arise on-site and provide solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
* Review and interpret project plans and specifications.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in bulk excavation projects, with a strong understanding of earthworks, grading, and site preparation.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
* In-depth knowledge of excavation machinery and safety equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant certifications in construction and safety.
* Ability to read and interpret project blueprints and technical documents.
