This is a unique opportunity for a **Consultant General Physician (FRACP)** to join a collaborative and supportive Medicine Department delivering high-quality care to a diverse regional population.
**About the Role**
As a **General Physician**, you will:
Provide inpatient and outpatient care for patients with **multiple co-morbidities or undifferentiated illness** requiring hospital admission.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver **evidence-based, patient-centred care**.
Contribute to supervision, mentoring, and education of Registrars, Junior Medical Officers, and medical students.
Participate in the acute general medicine roster, ensuring continuity of high-quality clinical services.
Engage in service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
**Mandatory Criteria**
Primary medical qualification registered or registrable with the **Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)**
**Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)**, including advanced training
**Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency**
