Role Overview The Developer Programmer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and internal systems that support business operations. This role works closely with management and operational teams to translate business requirements into effective, reliable, and scalable technical solutions. Duties and Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and internal systems Write clean, efficient, secure, and well-documented code Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software and system issues Maintain and enhance existing systems including inventory, sales, accounting, and web-based platforms Liaise with management to understand business needs and convert them into technical solutions Conduct system testing to ensure reliability, performance, and security Assist with system upgrades, updates, integrations, and deployments Prepare technical documentation and provide ongoing technical support as required Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Proven experience working as a Developer Programmer or similar role Ability to work independently, manage workload, and meet deadlines Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Good communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders Technical Skills & Experience Programming Languages & Frameworks: Core PHP PHP MVC Frameworks CodeIgniter Web Technologies: HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript JSP Database: MySQL What We Offer Competitive salary package of $100,000 - $110,000 plus superannuation Full-time, stable employment in the ACT Hybrid work arrangement offering flexibility and work-life balance Opportunity to work on diverse systems and enterprise-level applications Supportive team environment with long-term career progression
