Jesmond Executive villas in Jesmond Newcastle have vacancies for multiple Room Attendants/Hotel Cleaning positions. AGE IS NO BARRIER.
THE ROLE
The successful applicants will require some hotel experience, or age care cleaning, or AirBNB, or commercial cleaning as this is a rapid-paced industry and will require good time management. Employees are required to work a rotating weekend, or both weekends if they would prefer.
Our rooms consist of hotel rooms, and off-site AirBNB properties. A company car will be provided when available.
General housekeeping duties ensure that the rooms and common areas are clean, tidy and well-maintained, providing a comfortable experience for motel guests.
Cleaning and servicing rooms - making beds, dusting vacuuming mopping, sanitizing bathrooms, replenishing toiletries and towels.
Changing linens
Restocking supplies: towels, shampoo, soap, tea, coffee, sugar
Cleaning common areas, removing rubbish
Reporting maintenance issues
Adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Living in Australia and available in the Newcastle area
Current drivers licence
Punctual and reliable
Able to work independently
Experienced (see above)
Good communication skills - able to understand instructions
Centrelink may check those who are not available in Jesmond Newcastle, do not come in for interviews, do not have the Key Skills or who are not interested in working long-term.
