Brophy Family and Youth Services is seeking an innovative Clinical Lead to guide and inspire our team at headspace Hamilton in delivering vital mental health services for young people, their families, and their communities.

A full list of key duties is outlined in the Position Description, including responsibilities in:Managing funded program delivery in accordance with service agreements, quality and safety, and evaluation frameworks.Providing clinical leadership, consultation, and expertise to clinical staff and private practitioners in delivering early intervention mental health care to young people, their families, and friends.Undertaking research, service mapping, needs analysis, and program evaluation to meet best practice and inform planning and implementation.Ensuring clinical staff are properly oriented and supported with supervision, training, and professional development, including supervision of tertiary students and early career clinicians.Promoting collaboration with headspace teams and the broader agency to create positive client outcomes.Skills Required:Ability to monitor and lead the ongoing delivery and improvement of evidence-based care for clients across the mental health spectrum.Extensive knowledge and experience in leading teams to achieve quality service outcomes, providing line management support and clinical supervision.Proficiency in delivering evidence-based psychological therapies to young people aged 12-25.Experience within the Mental Health System and knowledge of local referral pathways.Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.Ability to work collaboratively, maintain professionalism, and engage stakeholders to support access for young people.Credentials Needed:Tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health discipline such as Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, or Occupational Therapy.Current registration with APHRA or membership with AASW.Minimum 4 years of experience in mental health, including evidence-based practices and interventions for youth.Proven clinical leadership skills in mental health service settings, especially youth mental health.A current Driver's Licence.About Brophy (headspace Lead Agency)Brophy Family & Youth Services has supported children, young people, families, and the southwest Victorian community for nearly 50 years.
