Position Overview
Sweeet Tooth Pty Ltd is a pink, girly pop dessert business focused on crafting delicious, high-quality treats and delivering exceptional service. We are excited to welcome a Senior Casual Barista to help elevate the customer experience at our Stockland Greenhills location.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service; take and deliver orders accurately and promptly; address inquiries, offer product recommendations, and resolve issues with a positive attitude.
- Barista Duties: Operate coffee machines and equipment with precision; maintain a clean, organized workstation; ensure beverages are prepared to a high standard following company recipes and guidelines.
- Supporting Junior Staff: Demonstrate excellent customer service and teamwork; assist in training and mentoring junior staff to ensure they understand responsibilities and perform tasks effectively.
- Stocking and Inventory: Manage stock levels, restock shelves, monitor inventory, and place orders as needed; ensure products are displayed attractively and rotated for freshness.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning to maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming setting; keep all areas, including seating, clean and presentable.
- Content Production: Assist in creating engaging content for social media, including photos and videos of products and customer interactions.
- Baking and Decorating: Support the baking and decorating team during busy periods or when extra help is required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A passion for coffee, desserts, and creating a positive customer experience.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior staff members.
