Head of Medical and Allied Health Manager needed, Ballarat Based Role, Not-For-Profit Organisation

Headquartered in Ballarat, they currently:
- operate 19 pharmacies across the western region of Victoria delivering health services beyond dispensing
- offer a range of services through our three medical centres
- provide non-emergency medical carefree of charge to our local community through the Ballarat Priority Primary Care Centre (PPCC)
- operate 20 Supercare Nursing Services across Victoria, providing afterhours nursing services to the communities we serve.
**Your new role**
- To execute on the organisation's strategy by optimising, growing, and diversifying medical and allied health services.
- To focus on business performance, KPIs, modelling and generating new revenue.
- To undertake projects and analysis designed to improve the performance and profitability of our health services and broader organisation.
- To monitor the health services landscape in our regions to identify service gaps and opportunities for collaboration with other health services providers.
**Financial Reporting**
Interpretation and dissemination of all financial reports to business unit managers that report directly to this position.
Working with the Business Analyst to augment financial reports with analysis, key business information and indicators.
Working closely with the COO and Finance Manager, this role is responsible for health services budget development, management of cost control, improving profitability and efficiency across medical and allied health business.
**Project Management**
Develop business cases with clear financial modelling, risks, and governance structures.
Ensure all project deliverables address future challenges and adhere to legislative and regulatory compliance standards.
Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in a project to ensure it is delivered on time, within budget and meets or exceeds expectations.
**Leadership**
Leadership is a strong focus of this role. A strong focus on communication, liaison and clear direction is critical to the success of this role.
Contribute and be an active member of the management team in the development of organisations policies and procedures and contribute to assessment of business development and business expansion opportunities.
Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct and Behaviour for all staff.
Assist with the development of training and succession planning strategies to support the ongoing sustainability of medical and allied health services.
Undertake training and development opportunities relevant for the position and develop employees within the team to reach their full potential.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- A relevant tertiary qualification or substantial experience in a management environment, preferably at a senior level.
- Health, business, or management qualifications.
- Project management and a history of successful delivery of projects.
- Experience in developing, monitoring, and evaluating business cases.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff and develop a collaborative working culture.
