We have a fulfilling opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join Stockland as a Customer Experience and Engagement Manager. To be successful in this role you will drive the creation of a strong customer experience strategy, in alignment with the overarching asset strategy, for four of our retail assets (including two flagship centres); Wetherill Park, Merrylands, Balgowlah and Piccadilly shopping centres.
**About the role**
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, and working with a dedicated team, you will develop the strategy and manage the implementation of a robust calendar of campaigns, projects, initiatives and events for the four shopping centres in the Sydney Metro region. You will also work in conjunction with the Content and Distribution Manager to develop engaging social and digital content. This role is pivotal in ensuring the centre marketing outcomes are delivered and achieved.
This full-time position will be based in our Sydney Head Office, however you will also spend time working within the Centre Management teams alongside the Customer Experience Executives based onsite. A typical week will see you spend three days onsite (head office/centre) and 2 days working from home.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Design and implement local and regional campaigns, aligned to key customers and areas of opportunity
- Support the allocation and management of the centre marketing budget in accordance with the approved budget parameters
- Forecast and manage campaign and activation budgets
- Integrate retailers into key strategies, campaigns and activations
- Support the positioning of the Stockland brand through the implementation of the PR strategy and the provision of content for marketing communications
- Create and implement the community relations program, including events and sponsorships, in alignment with the overarching marketing strategy
- Develop and effectively maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships
**About you**
You possess a strong strategic marketing, customer experience and leadership background, developed through your experience in campaign planning and implementation within the retail industry. This is demonstrated through your:
- Experience in campaign development and management
- Strategic mindset and commercial acumen to manage budgets and maximise ROI
- Ability to interpret and translate customer data to inform marketing strategies
- Strong collaboration skills: you have experience in engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, including retailers and local community groups
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
