About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Finance Officer to apply their financial skills in a meaningful Defence project with long-term impact. You will be responsible for managing invoicing, forecasting, financial reporting, and SAP transactions, as well as liaising with Defence and external stakeholders to ensure accurate alignment with the Defence Project Accounting Manual and government finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage invoicing, forecasting, financial reporting, and SAP transactions;

* Support project managers and delivery leads by providing financial expertise and advice;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* NV1 Defence Security Clearance;

* Experience in project accounting (ideally in a Defence context);

* Understanding of government finance processes and systems;

* Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Power BI for reporting;

* Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related discipline;

* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills;

* Ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to team success.
