The Role: Delivering Structural Excellence
* Deliver high-quality structural designs for various building types, including concrete, steel, and timber structures.
* Prepare documentation, design reports, and specifications to meet project requirements.
* Coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Support site inspections and contribute to construction phase services.
* Develop technical skills under mentorship from senior engineers.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee project delivery while mentoring junior engineers to develop their skills and expertise.
2. Lead structural design for commercial, residential, education, and healthcare projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
3. Produce and review detailed reports, computations, and engineering drawings to maintain the highest level of quality.
4. Manage project timelines, coordination with clients and design teams to deliver results on time and within budget.
5. Support business development through repeat client relationships and technical excellence, contributing to the company's growth and success.
6. Ensure QA compliance and contribute to team capability-building, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structures, demonstrating a strong foundation in mathematical and scientific principles.
* Strong technical expertise in concrete, steel, and timber structures, with proficiency in design software such as ETABS, RAM, RAPT, and SpaceGass.
* Revit experience is highly regarded, with the ability to work efficiently in this software.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
* Ability to manage time, priorities, and design tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating independence and self-motivation.
* Australian permanent residency is required, allowing for seamless integration into the local community and workplace.
