Join our Customer Care team at Stockland Merrylands in a permanent full time role, supporting a well established team of five. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong customer service experience, sound judgement and confidence working in a busy retail centre environment.

You will be joining a friendly team with long term members who value professionalism, collaboration and reliability. We are looking for someone who can build rapport with people of all ages, fit comfortably into a close knit team and thrive in a high activity customer environment.

What You Will Do

As a Customer Care Officer, you will be the welcoming face of Stockland Merrylands, supporting customers, retailers and Centre Management with care and professionalism.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing warm and efficient customer service at the Customer Care Desk
* Supporting general administration and daily centre operations
* Managing competing priorities during busy periods with confidence and calm
* Assisting with community and marketing activity during peak seasons
* Providing additional support when team members are on leave
* Building strong relationships with customers, retailers and contractors
* Using systems, email and Excel to complete daily tasks accurately
* Sale and processing of gift cards

About You

You are personable, reliable and confident interacting with people. You bring solid customer service experience and can remain calm and professional when the centre is busy. You enjoy working in a team, communicate clearly and are comfortable juggling multiple priorities at once.

We welcome both entry level and experienced candidates.

Experience and Skills That Count

* Strong experience in face to face customer service
* High computer literacy, including email, Excel and systems
* Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast paced setting
* Comfortable communicating with customers waiting for assistance
* Strong communication skills with attention to detail
* Able to adapt quickly and support team needs
