About the role:
We are on the look out for an experienced Key Account Executive or a Business Development Manager who is looking to gain further development in multisite operations account management. Responsible for delivering our national On-Premise strategy within the Queensland market, our Account Executive is accountable for growing their account portfolio, continuing to cement Diageo as an exceptional supply partner to the On Prem channel, and continuing to grow our market share within bars and clubs.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver the National On Premise strategy within your portfolio of multisite accounts, with a focus on executional excellence;- Develop and implement strong joint business plans with key accounts within your portfolio;- Find opportunities to partner with and grow relationships, sales and market share within your key accounts;- Use data & insights to understand consumer behaviour within the On Premise channel within QLD to act as a category expert to your accounts; and- Some business development activities.
What you'll provide:
- A background in field/territory sales or as a BDM or Account Executive. While experience in Alcohol is not required, a passion for the on premise channel is a must;- Demonstrated experience in nurturing and growing key accounts and the ability to think strategically across the needs of multiple sites within a single ownership group;- The ability to use data and insights to find opportunities that benefit your customers, consumers and the Diageo business;- Strong communication skills;- Strong internal motivation and an ability work within your portfolio autonomously; and- An entrepreneurial spirit and the willingness to challenge/think differently.
