What you'll be doing:
* Delivering personalised, premium care with compassion and dignity, helping our clients live life to the fullest.
* Encouraging independence, confidence and community connections for the clients you support.
* Assisting clients with everyday activities such as personal care, mobility, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
* Building meaningful relationships with clients, their families, the care team and follow truly individualised care plans.
* Keeping accurate client records and documentation to ensure the best possible care.
* Championing safety, quality, and wellbeing in every aspect of your work.
Skills & Experience
* Passionate about making a difference.
* A self-led leader with the ability to take responsibility for their own behaviour & success.
* Coachable
* Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
* Must be able to speak and write in English.
* Native or fluent level English proficiency required for effective communication in speaking and writing.
* Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
Mandatory Requirements
* Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, overnight and weekends
* Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain prior to commencing)
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain prior to commencing)
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
