Applications are invited for the position of ICT Service Desk Officer. This is an ongoing position, working two days per week.
The ICT Service Desk Officer is responsible for providing timely, courteous, and effective first-line technical assistance to staff, students, and parents within the College environment. Acting as an initial point of contact on the ICT service desk, the role ensures accurate logging, prioritisation, and resolution of incidents and service requests in accordance with established service levels. The position requires clear and empathetic communication with users of varying technical ability, always maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. The ICT Service Desk Officer plays a key role in supporting classroom technologies, end-user devices, and essential school systems, while adhering to child safety standards, privacy legislation, and school policies. Additionally, the role contributes to maintaining accurate documentation, escalating issues appropriately, and promoting a positive user experience that supports teaching and learning outcomes.
