Our client, a leading US-based consumer products design and manufacturing company, is driving further development across their brands. They are seeking skilled professionals to help shape their Product Innovation Team.

The ideal candidate will have circa 10+ years of experience in designing and developing concepts for international consumer markets. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant Design/Engineering discipline is essential, while working knowledge of electrical/electronic controls would be an advantage.

This exciting opportunity allows you to work on new product creation, supporting the Head of Product Innovation to drive front-end roadmap development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create prototypes and test solutions that align with established insights and marketing strategies.

The role involves conceptualizing and testing products with consumers, prototyping, and validating solutions in the US, with support from R&D/DFM teams in China. This position comes with a full relocation package and assistance.

You will be based in our facility in Orange County, California, with some short stay travel to China. The client is focused on sponsoring Australians citizens, making this an approved route via the US Immigration Department.

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
">
* Circa 10+ years of experience in consumer products design and development
">
* Working knowledge of electrical/electronic controls (advantageous)
">
* Hands-on experience designing world-class products from ideation to hand-over for detail design and manufacturing
">
* Able to play an integral part in the journey of new product development
