About the Role:
In this dynamic role, you will be working with clients to explore their career aspirations and develop tailored employment plans. Your expertise in inclusive employment practices will enable you to build strong relationships with employers and identify meaningful career opportunities for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Source and create career opportunities, matching clients to suitable and sustainable roles.
2. Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury or health condition.
3. Engage and work alongside employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
4. Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
5. Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
6. Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
7. Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
8. Promote Breakthru as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
9. Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
10. Champion Breakthru's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
About You:
You bring empathy, energy, and a strong drive to make a difference. With experience, or a genuine passion, for employment services. You're confident supporting people, building trust and guiding them into meaningful careers. You're outcomes focused, highly organised and thrive in a fast paced, people-first environment. You enjoy understanding an employer's business and identifying staffing solutions that truly fit.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (desirable)
* Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively
* Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health condition
* Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Current Driver's License (essential)
