About Bass Coast Health
On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians. Mandatory Requirements
Mandatory items for appointment as a FANZCA:
* Alignment with BCH's WE CARE values
* Specialist & General Registration with AHPRA (Australian and Health Practitioner Registration Agency)
* Registration with ANZCA (Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists) preferred
* Demonstrated relevant clinical background and experience
* Demonstrated organisational, interpersonal, consultation, negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
* Experience in teaching and mentoring
* Valid Police Check
* Valid Working with Children Check
* Valid professional references
Mandatory items for appointment as a GPA:
* Alignment with BCH's WE CARE values
* MBBS registration in Victoria
* Registration with AHPRA (Australian and Health Practitioner Registration Agency)
* Advanced specialist training – Rural Generalist Anaesthesia (RGA) or equivalent
* Demonstrated relevant clinical background and experience
* Demonstrated organisational, interpersonal, consultation, negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
* Experience in teaching and mentoring
* Valid Police Check
* Valid Working with Children Check
* Valid professional references
