Aquaflo Hire is an Australian-owned leader in mine dewatering solutions. As part of our continued growth, we're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help expand our Hire Division across mining and civil sectors in and around New South Wales. Our Head Office is based in Bathurst.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, solving technical challenges, and owning their patch.

About the role
You'll be responsible for driving hire revenue by identifying opportunities, developing tailored dewatering solutions, and building long-term client relationships.
You'll work closely with our workshop and technician teams to ensure equipment reliability and outstanding customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities
* Develop and grow hire business across mining and civil sectors
* Build strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
* Identify new opportunities and manage a healthy sales pipeline
* Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and provide solutions
* Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate hire agreements
* Liaise with technical teams to ensure timely repairs, servicing, and support
About you
* 3–5+ years' experience in business development or sales (mining/civil preferred)
* Proven ability to win and grow accounts
* Strong technical aptitude (dewatering or pumping experience highly regarded)
* Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Requirements
* Based in Newcastle or Hunter valley Region willing to travel from Bathurst ( Head Office), NSW
* Valid driver's licence
