Senior Test Analyst (Manual Testing - Guidewire) Location: Sydney Work Arrangement: Hybrid Employment Type: Contract or Permanent We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst with strong manual testing expertise and exposure to Guidewire platforms to join a high-performing delivery team. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise applications within a banking or insurance environment, contributing to test planning, execution, and defect management across complex system implementations. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility while working closely with delivery teams to support major transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios aligned with business and technical requirements Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing across enterprise applications Work within Guidewire ecosystems (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI Identify, document, and manage defects through structured bug tracking processes Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases Maintain test artefacts and documentation using test management tools Required Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of Guidewire platforms (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) Experience testing within banking or insurance domains (highly desirable) Proven experience creating test plans, cases, and test scenarios Hands-on experience with test management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including: Functional testing Regression testing Integration testing System testing Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes, including risk-based testing approaches Basic knowledge of test automation concepts (Selenium or TOSCA) — even if not actively automating
