About the Role
Flight Attendant based in Perth – Rex Airlines (Regional Express) is Australia's largest independent regional airline, operating a fleet of Saab 340 aircraft to 54 destinations. Our flight attendants provide warm and genuine inflight service, and the company has won the Apex Award for Best Cabin Service in the South Pacific.
Responsibilities
* Manage the cabin independently, ensuring safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.
* Perform equipment and security checks.
* Make in‑flight announcements.
* Serve food and beverage.
* Maintain cabin cleanliness.
* Handle any situations that may arise in the cabin.
* Adhere to aviation regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
* Minimum 18 years of age, Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
* Not taller than 173 cm.
* Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
* Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate completed within the last 3 years.
* Completed minimum 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or at least 3 years of residence in Australia/New Zealand, or USA/UK/Ireland, or IELTS overall grade 5.5.
* Valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) – police security check required.
* Swim fully clothed without aid or floating device (fitness swimming assessment required).
* High personal presentation and willingness to please and care for people.
* Flexible and adaptable – able to work weekends, public holidays, early starts, late finishes and nights away from home.
* Passion for customer service and commitment to exceptional service.
* Extensive training provided – flying experience not required.
