ZAPD Movers operates at the top end of the market, delivering and placing premium furniture into beautifully designed homes across Southeast Queensland and the Northern Rivers. Our clients are interior designers, furniture retailers, and homeowners who care deeply about presentation. The standard we hold ourselves to reflects that.
About the Role
You'll work alongside our lead driver as a skilled offsider - handling, protecting, and placing high-value furniture with care and precision. Every job is an opportunity to represent our brand well. That means showing up prepared, communicating clearly with clients, and taking pride in the work from pickup to final placement.

What We're Looking For
• Experience Minimum 12 months in removals or furniture delivery
• Reliability On time, every time — our clients and retail partners depend on it
• Communication Professional and confident with clients, designers, and retail staff
• Attention to detail Furniture is wrapped, moved, and placed with care — no shortcuts
• Initiative You spot what needs doing and get it done without being asked
• Physical fitness Able to safely lift heavy items and handle stairs — this is demanding work
• Safe operator You work safely and protect both the furniture and the people around you
• Growth mindset You want to develop, take ownership, and grow with the business
Desirable
• MR or HR truck licence (or willing to obtain) — driver role is available for the right person
• Experience handling high-end, fragile, or bespoke furniture
• Familiarity with the SEQ or Northern Rivers region
Requirements
• Valid police check required (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
• ABN preferred — contractor arrangement
• Current driver's licence (minimum car licence)
• Physically fit and able to perform manual lifting safely
• Available Tuesday to Saturday, with Monday availability required during busy periods
