Support Worker Co is a leading Support Worker Agency that provides best-fit Disability Support Workers to Disability Service providers across Australia.
We are currently seeking Casual Support Workers to support adult NDIS participants in SILs, & respite services across Mt Gravatt, Alex Hills, Cannon Hills and Seven Hills surrounding suburbs in East Brisbane.
Female Support Workers are preferred for this role due to female clients' requests with personal hygiene needs.
Overview Of The Role
We have opportunities to support people in SIL arrangements & respite services.24-hour care model, meaning staff are required to work a combination of shifts – morning (from 6am), afternoon (from 2pm) and sleep over shifts.Assist participants with the range of personal activities including hygiene support, medication assistance, manual handling, domestic assistance & meals.Following specific positive behaviour support plans (PBSP) Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities.Support people within both group settings and 1-on-1 arrangements.Use a company vehicle and/or your own vehicle to transport participants to community-based outings.
What you need:
Completed or currently studying a Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant)12 months paid experience supporting people in SILs with physical & intellectual disabilities.Australian Driver's LicenseFirst Aid CertificateCPRNDIS Worker Screening CheckWorking with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employmentNDIS Worker Orientation ModuleReliable smart phone with data
