Healthcare Nurse - Mental Health/AOD
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality care to individuals in detention. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate care that respects the dignity, culture, values, and rights of each person.
Responsibilities include completing health assessments, developing individualized care plans, administering medications, providing education on health promotion and disease prevention, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Our ideal candidate is an AHPRA-registered nurse with at least five years of clinical experience in mental health or alcohol and other drugs (AOD) in an operational setting. They hold a postgraduate qualification in mental health and/or AOD and possess strong prioritization, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

Requirements:
* AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (General)
* At least five years of clinical experience in mental health or AOD in an operational setting
* Postgraduate qualification in mental health and/or AOD (AQF-recognized)
* Strong prioritization, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
