About the Company
Our client is a global leader in high-temperature combustion and pyro-processing solutions for heavy industry.
For almost 50 years, the organisation has improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, lifted productivity, and supported customers through evolving environmental and regulatory demands.
With a highly specialised global team, including PhD combustion experts, the company supports major industrial operators in iron ore (including pelletising), cement, lime, minerals, pulp & paper, steel, and broader heavy manufacturing.
The Opportunity
This is a senior commercial leadership role with full accountability for growing the Oceania business.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive regional commercial activity across Australia and New Zealand, deepen key customer relationships, and expand revenue across multiple industrial markets.
You will have full autonomy to develop strategy, secure major projects, and build a national sales team as the region scales.
The role can be based in Adelaide (preferred), Melbourne, or Perth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead business development and commercial growth across Australia, NZ, and the Pacific.
Identify and pursue opportunities in key sectors: iron ore, cement, minerals, lime, pulp & paper, and heavy industry.
Sell proprietary combustion and pyro-processing solutions, including complex engineered OEM systems.
Engage senior stakeholders from operations through to C-suite, sustainability, and major project leadership.
Collaborate closely with engineering, projects, and commercial teams to deliver accurate proposals and solution design.
Operate within CRM (PipeDrive) and work in alignment with the Global Chief Business Development Officer.
About You
You will thrive in this role if you:
Have a strong commercial and technical sales background within process industry environments (cement, minerals, iron ore, lime, steel, pulp & paper, or similar).
Understand combustion, engineered process systems, or industrial equipment - or can learn it quickly.
Manage long sales cycles, complex stakeholder mapping, and technical scoping with confidence.
Demonstrate strong sales acumen, resilience, and the drive to build a regional commercial function.
