About the Opportunity
The Building Security & Administration Officer will manage and operate the organisation's electronic access control systems and support building security across a diverse property portfolio.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of access control & systems across metropolitan and regional NSW, providing strategic and operational advice to improve building security outcomes. You will also provide high-level administrative and clerical support within the Infrastructure & Assets Unit.
This position is ideal for a security-focused professional who enjoys working across systems, policy, and people, and who can balance operational responsibilities with compliance and stakeholder engagement.

About You
You are an experienced security or facilities professional with strong technical knowledge and a practical, solutions-focused approach. You are comfortable working with a range of electronic access control systems and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders to improve security outcomes.
You will demonstrate:
* Knowledge and practical experience in security systems, including access control, alarms, CCTV, ID and applying relevant legislation.
* Ability to support, implement and monitor security awareness and risk minimization strategies.
* Strong administrative skills, including experience with MS Office applications and data analysis for reporting.
* Understanding of asset management practices, quality auditing and systems reporting.
* Experience contributing to the delivery and ongoing support of security management programs through effective administration, coordination, and reporting in complex environments.
