Description
IGT is seeking a highly skilled and creative Audio Designer to provide the audio content for all assigned games. Our team in Australia currently has a role for a talented and motivated audio designer to collaborate with game designers, developers, and artists to match audio to gameplay and themes for our games. Use your musical knowledge and sound design talent to make games more exciting by creating immersive soundscapes and compelling music and implementing sound effects for player engagement. This role suits someone with a strong foundation in sound design, audio production and music composition in a wide variety of genres and styles. You are motivated to compose high-quality music, deliver timely premium audio assets and support the studio to ensure consistent audio performance and mix quality. Whether it is the clinking of coins, background music, or engaging interactive audio elements, you are enthusiastic in providing audio assets for a complete sensory experience for player engagement.
About the Role
* Compose, record, mix, and implement music and sound effects for our video and mechanical slots
* Collaborate with Developers, Artists, Creative Directors, and Producers to create the desired audio outcome
* Troubleshoot and debug on assigned projects
* Compose music in all genres including rock, jazz, orchestral, electronica and hybrid styles
* Synchronize sound to animation and game events
About You
* 2 - 4 years of experience as a composer and sound designer for games - casino or otherwise. Experience in casino games is of significant interest
* Some experience implementing music and sound for games
* WWISE experience in a professional setting
* Ability to compose in every style and genre
* Instrument proficiency, music programming, and composition experience
* Audio manipulation experienceUnderstanding of music theory
* Solid understanding of acoustics
* Directing and recording voice-over talent
Separate sound design and music demos may be requested.
