Property Manager Temporary Role

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to step into a temporary role within our Applecross office. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of approximately 140 properties and 220 tenancies, including a mixed commercial portfolio with retail assets. This is predominantly an office-based role, with a car allowance provided for any required travel. The position offers the potential to transition to a permanent role for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of residential and commercial properties, maintaining high standards of service for landlords and tenants.
* Conduct lease negotiations, prepare heads of agreements, and oversee lease renewals.
* Perform routine, ingoing, and outgoing property inspections, providing detailed reports to owners and tenants.
* Supervise maintenance, repairs, capital works, and tenant renovations, ensuring contractor compliance and insurance coverage.
* Oversee day-to-day accounts management, including arrears management, invoicing, and financial reporting.
* Maintain strong relationships with owners, tenants, and key stakeholders.
* Support the onboarding of new clients and tenants through welcome packages and clear communication.
* Identify opportunities to enhance portfolio value and deliver proactive property management solutions.
Skills And Experience Required
* Current WA Property Management Registration (essential).
* Valid drivers licence and access to a car.
* Prior experience in property management, including residential and commercial portfolios.
* Proficiency with Property Tree (preferred but not essential).
* Strong communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
* Professional, motivated, and team-oriented approach.
