You bring a balanced approach—combining strong technical capability with excellent interpersonal skills—and thrive in a collaborative environment where your work directly supports organisational efficiency and integrity.
Your expertise will support streamlined processes, improved service delivery, and stronger procurement governance — ensuring the University’s purchasing activities are well-managed, transparent, and aligned with broader strategic and operational goals.
What you'll do
As a Business Services Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that streamline workflows and enhance user experience by embedding responsible and sustainable procurement principles into everyday business practices.
In the first 6-12 months, you will establish yourself as a trusted advisor in day-to-day operations by:
* Supporting staff and suppliers in using UniSQ’s Digital Marketplace and resolving system or process issues.
* Coordinating supplier onboarding and maintenance, including compliance checks and data integrity management.
* Preparing procurement and marketplace reports that inform governance, oversight, and decision-making.
* Providing frontline advice through the procurement service desk, ensuring timely and accurate query resolution.
* Assisting with travel procurement processes and policy compliance.

* Experience working in business services, administration, procurement support, supplier administration, finance support, or enterprise systems within a complex organisation.
* Strong analytical and administrative skills, with the ability to prepare and interpret reports, records, and business information.
* High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and confidence managing data integrity.
* Proficiency in business systems, databases, or enterprise platforms, together with strong Microsoft Office skills..
