The Role
Staff specialist General Physician / Geriatrician - offered as part time Geriatrics / part time General Medicine position up to 1.0 FTE in total, ideally suited to a dual trained Geriatrician/General Physician.

The Location

The Hospital
A 360-bed public teaching hospital. It serves as the main tertiary referral center for the Top End Health Service, covering a vast area of 475,338 km². RDH offers a wide range of services across all specialty areas, including emergency care, intensive care, surgery, medicine, pathology, and radiology. The hospital is affiliated with Flinders University, Charles Darwin University, and the University of Sydney, supporting medical education and research. It also houses the Menzies School of Health Research, focusing on Aboriginal health and tropical medicine.
The Requirements
- Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Specialist registration with Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in General and Acute Care Medicine and Geriatric Medicine.
