About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Service Officer to support the team in Townsville. Based in Townsville and reporting to the Regional Manager, this role is pivotal to Chubb's ongoing success in the Fire and Safety service/maintenance market across regional Queensland. This hands‐on role focuses on purchasing, inventory control, administration and customer service, working closely with field technicians, managers, customers and operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage purchasing activities in line with budgets and production requirements
* Monitor stock movements, conduct cycle counts and resolve variances
* Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory data, reports and registers
* Support audits, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
* Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices
* General Branch administration, Timesheets, account payable / receivable, reports, invoicing, purchase orders, account reconciliation, leave planning, and on-call rosters.
* Actively assist Supervisors with day‐to‐day admin support with customer enquiries
* Ordering stock e.g. fire extinguishers, distribute product out to customers
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in administration /office based customer service
* Experience with ERP systems (Pronto or similar)
* Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
* Confident communicator with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* You will have full Australian Working Rights
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Team player
* A can‐do attitude with a curious and positive to learn new things!
