The RoleThe Accounts Officer will report directly to the Manager and supporting with accounting and finance across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function as well as ad-hoc support such as payroll and bookkeeping as and when required.
The role is responsible but not limited to:
* Provide financial administrative support in end-to-end accounts receivable and payable deliverables.
* Perform reconciliation of creditor's accounts and follow up outstanding supplier statement balances.
* The role contributes to resolving accounting and finance system problems with team members and customers and provides information and advice to customers on a course of action appropriate to their needs.
* Processing of payroll accurately and efficiently, including calculations for terminations, super, PAYG, and deductions.
* PAYG, Payroll Tax, STP and Superannuation payments.
* Ensuring accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements.
* Ensure a high level of quality customer service and professionalism to all staff, debtors and clients
* Build relationships with their major clients and accounts.
* Allocating and receipting of payments
Ideal Candidate
* 3-5 years as an Accounts Officer/Accounts Assistant level with AR/AP + payroll experience is essential.
* Experience with SAP is essential
* Intermediate/Advance with Excel
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
* Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
* Full working rights in Australia
