We are recruiting for an Assistant Design Manager / Design Coordinator to join a reputable building main contractor with strong order book for next year across a mix of sectors including (Commercial, Hotels, Student Accommodation & PRS).
Location
Role will include a mix of site visits and some hybrid remote working, initial project in Leeds, future projects can be further a field so some flexibility to travel is required.
Role
Assist in the management and control of the design process to ensure that the design and procurement information packages are delivered to meet project requirements.
To support the Project Delivery teams by providing design input, onsite or in the pre-construction period.
The position will see you working with a senior design manager as mentor, providing guidance and structure to the role.
Requirements
Knowledge of Building Sector.
Previous employment as a Design Co-ordinator, D&B; Coordinator, D&B; Manager or Design Manager.
Candidates looking to transfer experience over from a Architecture or Design Engineering background may also be considered.
Previous experience in building sector projects such as Commercial, Mixed Use, Residential, Apartment Blocks, Student Accommodation, Hotels, Extra Care Housing, MOJ, Education or Healthcare.
Previous Main Contractor employment ideal but not essential.
High level of communication skills.
Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).
Remuneration:
£30,000 - £50,000 Basic (Dependent on experience)
