3. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

4. Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety management systems.

5. Oversee food preparation and portion control to minimize waste and maintain food cost targets.

6. Monitor kitchen inventory, manage orders, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh produce.

7. Train and mentor junior kitchen team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

8. Work collaboratively with front-of-house and management to ensure smooth service flow.

9. Handle kitchen equipment with care, conduct routine maintenance checks, and report any faults.

10. Participate in rostering, scheduling, and shift planning where required.

11. Manage kitchen operations during peak hours and in the absence of senior chefs or management.

Qualifications and Skills:

We require a minimum 1 year experience working as a Chef in a busy, high-standard kitchen. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure is essential. A strong understanding of kitchen operations, food handling, and hygiene best practices is also necessary.
