Venue Sales & Partnerships Manager | The Bower Estate

Makki Pty Ltd proudly operates two renowned wedding and events venues – The Bower Estate in Natural Bridge and Kwila Lodge in Mudgeeraba.

From luxury weddings and corporate retreats to wellness experiences and private celebrations, we create extraordinary events set amongst some of the most beautiful natural surroundings the Gold Coast has to offer.

As demand continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and relationship-focused Venue Sales and Partnerships Manager to help drive enquiries, convert bookings and deliver exceptional experiences for our clients.

What You'll Be Doing

* Conducting venue tours and creating unforgettable first impressions for prospective clients. Weekend work essential.
* Managing enquiries via phone, email, social media and SMS.
* Nurturing leads through the sales pipeline and converting opportunities into confirmed bookings.
* Building strong relationships with clients, industry partners and suppliers.
* Working with CRM systems to manage enquiries and monitor conversion performance.
* Assisting with content creation and showcasing the magic of our venues through behind-the-scenes social media content.
* Collaborating with the marketing team on campaigns and promotions.
* Representing the business at industry events and networking opportunities.
* Very occasionally assisting the events team to experience the magic you are selling.

About You

You are a natural relationship builder who enjoys meeting people and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Ideally, you'll bring:

* 3+ years' experience in sales, business development, events or marketing.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisation and attention to detail.
* Confidence using CRM and booking systems.
* A proactive, self-driven approach and the ability to work autonomously.
* Experience with email marketing platforms (such as Klaviyo) highly regarded.
* Familiarity with AI tools and modern technologies advantageous.
* Confidence appearing in behind-the-scenes content or being a face of the brand is welcomed, but not essential.

Requirements

* Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
* Ability to comfortably walk approximately 1 km during venue tours.
* A love of the outdoors and being comfortable around wildlife (kangaroos, wallabies, birds and the occasional curious visitor!).
