Key responsibilites Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with the Queensland Public Sector values, as outlined above.
Provide leadership, direction and timely expert high level strategic advice to senior Queensland Health Executives including the Minister for Health, Mental Health and Ambulance Services and Minister for Women, Director-General, and Deputy Directors-General, Health Service Chief Executives, and eHealth Queensland to identify priorities and coordinate strategies to improve the quality of, and access to, healthcare Undertake and/or direct high-level complex, sensitive and time-critical digital projects with a focus on delivering access to timely and effective healthcare services with a particular focus on value-based care, emergency and specialist services and the use of digital and virtual health care services that improve safety, efficiency and quality in the delivery of health Role fit Demonstrated high level of knowledge and experience in providing sensitive and complex high-level advice and support to executive Highly developed management and supervisory skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage project High level knowledge of the operation of Hospital and Health Services and Virtual models of care, with demonstrated ability to lead strategically and apply such knowledge Demonstrated ability to effectively manage stakeholder engagement activities, negotiate and react responsively to Queensland Health expectations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with stakeholders and team members.
