Business Services Assistant Manager Job Description
This is a senior accounting role that involves managing a portfolio of clients and overseeing the work of junior staff members. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and be able to provide guidance and support to their team.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 years experience in Australian business services and tax, as well as strong accounting systems proficiency and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
In this role you will be working closely with clients to add value to their long-term goals. This includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and various group structures.
You will also be responsible for attending to taxation matters including Div7A, GST, FBT & CGT and small business concessions. Additionally, you will work with clients on future business decisions including structuring, tax planning and tax strategies.

About the Role
* Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the work of junior staff members
* Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and various group structures
* Attend to taxation matters including Div7A, GST, FBT & CGT and small business concessions
* Work with clients on future business decisions including structuring, tax planning and tax strategies
* Provide CFO advisory accounting function for clients
* Manage workflow and resolve issues that arise
Requirements
* Approximately 5 years experience in Australian business services and tax
* Strong accounting systems proficiency
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated strong leadership and rapport-building skills
