Job Description
* Drive new business development by identifying and securing opportunities for QLSA's premium basestocks and additives.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to meet annual growth targets and expand market presence across Australia and Asia.
* Provide technical support and expertise to lubricant blenders, assisting them in formulating products using the latest technologies.
* Conduct customer seminars and training to raise product awareness and enhance technical knowledge for both customers and internal teams.
* Manage customer relationships, including annual volume contracts and documentation of specific customer requirements.
* Forecast sales volumes and plan business growth, ensuring alignment with both customer needs and QLSA's objectives.
* Support and represent QLSA in key industry forums, such as the Australian Lubricant Association (ALA), to stay updated on market trends and opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
* A true hunter mindset, with strong business development skills and a proven track record in identifying new opportunities and securing profitable contracts.
* Has experience in lubricants or related industries, with a deep understanding of product formulations, basestocks, additives, and their performance impact.
* Has a strong network in the lubricant industry or related sectors, with an understanding of market dynamics and competitor landscapes.
* Is comfortable with travel (domestic and international), representing the company in key industry forums and building relationships across the Asia-Pacific region.
* Is a strategic thinker, able to develop and implement sales and account plans that drive growth while aligning with company goals.
* Is a strong communicator, capable of delivering technical presentations and conducting seminars to enhance product awareness among customers.
* Is self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset, able to work independently while contributing to team goals across multiple regions (Australia and Asia).
