Do you have a passion for events? We're searching for an experienced and dynamic Events Coordinator to join our team at one of the Fleurieu's most prestigious venues for weddings, events, conferences and functions.
This hands-on role is ideal for a creative, detail focused, sales-experienced, organised and energetic professional who thrives on delivering exceptional event experiences while working closely with an award-winning kitchen and F&B team.
The Role
As an Events Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in securing, planning and communicating the detail of a diverse range of events, including:
* Client-based - corporate events such as conferences, trade shows and seminars
* Private functions such as weddings, engagements, christenings, graduations and celebrations
* In-house events – wine dinners, seasonal outdoor events, concerts/festivals, community and charity events
Key Requirements:
Create, promote and lead in-house events, such as Mother's Day, Valentines Day, Christmas Day
Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure event specifications meet expectations
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to develop existing and create new business opportunities
Ensure the timely and detailed distribution of event-related communications to all relevant parties
Host Venue Tours
Conduct detail meetings with clients and couples and clients to plan their events
Develop event orders for the operations team and Communicate event details to all relevant departments
Working in cohesion with the team to deliver events on the day
Promptly respond to all client emails and communications
* Some financial tasks such as invoices, debtors, event P&Ls
* Collaborate and work in conjunction with key suppliers
* Days of work, generally will be tailored to event bookings and business requirements
About You:
· Experience managing end-to-end events, including planning, execution, & follow-up
· High level food and beverage service background
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
· A creative mindset with an understanding of profit and loss
· Experience in a sales environment.
