Job Title: Maintenance Operations Lead
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional to take ownership of the maintenance, safety, and operational performance of all equipment, vehicles, and facilities across the site.
As a Maintenance Operations Lead, you will be responsible for driving real impact from day one by ensuring the smooth operation of our site. You will work closely with the DC Manager to monitor, manage and support safety and risk procedures for all plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles and facilities.
You will also be responsible for managing contractors and stakeholders, leading continuous improvement projects and programs of work, and participating in planned training including skill development for maintenance activities.
Due to the nature of this role, some weekend and after-hours work may be expected.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Background in Mechanical or Electrical and/or maintenance and facilities
* Strong technical understanding of basic mechanics for plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles and facilities
* Demonstrated experience and understanding of contractor management and maintenance planning
* Organised, proactive and self-driven
* Ability to perform handyman tasks
