Neko Geelong – Barista (Casual / Part-Time)
Neko Geelong is a cat-themed Japanese & Asian fusion café in central Geelong. We're looking for a reliable and experienced Barista for casual or part-time daytime shifts. If you love coffee, working with a fun café team, and enjoy a cat-friendly environment, this could be the perfect role for you
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based and specialty coffees
* Take customer orders and provide friendly, efficient service
* Assist with café prep, cleaning, and organisation
* Operate coffee machines and grinders safely and efficiently
* Maintain café cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Support the team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
About You:
* Previous barista experience preferred
* Punctuality and reliability are essential
* Positive, energetic, and customer-focused attitude
* Works well under pressure in a fast-paced café
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Weekend availability preferred
* Cat lovers are an advantage
Trading Hours (Shifts Within These Hours):
* Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm
* Saturday: 9:00am – 2:00pm
* Sunday: Closed
