12 Month Daily Rate Contract with possible extensions - Canberra Hybrid - Minimum Baseline or NV1 Required
Key duties and responsibilities
* Procurement processes including developing scope of work, RFQ, selection documents/team for a market approach;
* Vendor management to deliver contractual outcomes;
* Leading discovery activities to examine the legacy content and platform to analyse and understand the size and scale of an uplift activity;
* Prepare the necessary business case for consideration and approval;
* Translating discovery outcomes into an executable strategy, project plan and other artefacts, manage project scheduling and budget maintenance;
* Establish and manage a team with necessary skillset effectively to deliver the required outcomes;
* Work with Director ITPMO, the Portfolio Delivery Manager and technical leads across the division to define and manage the delivery of outcomes;
* Responsible for monitoring and reporting on project progress as well as escalating risks and issues where required to ensure full transparency;
* Liaise with and maintain key stakeholder relationships, including policy, project or operational issues and action items and responding to stakeholder needs and managing expectations;
* Clearly communicate decisions across multiple stakeholder groups using good judgement, expertise and knowledge, governed by legislation, regulations, best practice principles or relevant operating instructions and procedures.
Required experience
* Experience in planning, managing, and executing IT projects with multiple tools and methodologies, refining requirements to ensure the relevant product and services are delivered within agreed time, cost and quality expectations
* Exceptional technical knowledge/experience with technical project delivery, including advanced knowledge of website re-development within a federal government context
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate and sustain complex stakeholder relationships, including vendor management experience
* Proven analytical abilities with the ability to assess information/data, and facilitate change, and translate business requirements to technology solutions
* Exceptional experience in building mature high-performing teams, and working in a complex and dynamic environment that is focused on quality outcomes and service delivery
* Proactive and extremely competent in delivering high quality written communication autonomously
* Willingness to work within a team that places a core emphasis on culture and is highly collaborative
* Demonstrated personal integrity whilst achieving results within legislative and policy parameters
