We are working with a QLD Govt Dept based in Townsville, to recruit an experienced Communications Officer (AO3). This is a contract role for an initial six-month period, with the chance of extension.
The contractor will produce well written communications materials such as correspondence, flyer's, social media post, and web-page updates to name a few. Additionally, you will engage with stakeholders for low-risk matters and responding to enquiries. You will also be responsible for:
* Stakeholder engagement support for low-risk projects
* Development of project webpages, analytic reports, updates
* Project flyer and distribution
* Communication responses for low lever stakeholder issues
* Management of correspondence tracker
* Source stakeholder contact details, lot number information and enter into spreadsheets and consultation manager
* Assist or attend stakeholder meetings with Program Engagement Office
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has worked in a large organisation/govt dept. You will have at least 1-2 years communications experience and ideally an understanding of infrastructure projects.
