Who Are We?
We're Alice Springs Brewing Co, a fiercely independent brewery built in the heart of the Red Centre. Since 2018, we've grown from a dusty idea to a must-visit venue and respected name in the NT craft beer scene.
We're proudly local, community-driven, and serious about making beer that speaks to our region. Whether it's pouring pints under the stars at a bush gig, or sending kegs to festivals down south, we're here to make good beer and have fun doing it.
Our crew is small but passionate. We work hard, have a laugh, and back each other up. We're looking for a like-minded human who's ready to take charge and take us to the next level.
The Role
As Head Brewer, you'll lead all aspects of beer production at Alice Springs Brewing Co, from brew planning to packaging and everything in between.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing full production output of a busy brewery
* Managing raw material orders and inventory
* Leading, training and scheduling brewing team members
* Managing cellar, QA/QC and packaging operations
* Ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance across the brewery
* Monitoring and improving efficiency, yields, and product consistency
You'll need:
* Commercial brewing experience (3+ years in a leadership or senior brewing role)
* Strong technical brewing knowledge (Cert IV or Diploma in Brewing a bonus)
* A love of quality beer and pride in your craft
* Solid communication and leadership skills
* The ability to work independently, solve problems, and bring fresh ideas
* A "roll your sleeves up" attitude — we're a small team and no one's above the squeegee!
