About the role
This role will be based at our Fairfield East location.
This position requires the development & interpretation of engineering reports, engineering drawings and mechanical transmission analysis to ensure job specifications are accurately prepared and captured for job estimating, quoting and customer approvals.
Responsibilities
Provide technical advice to production
Develop job engineering specifications
Compile/review engineering reports and update where needed
Conduct component measurements and produce technical drawings
Gear data analysis, reverse engineering, and gear design
Respond to QA inspection requests from department
Monitor job completion for final reporting
About you
Completed a bachelor's degree in engineering majoring in mechanical or similar
Intermediate knowledge of technical design and drafting (reading, comprehending, and developing)
Basic level of Solidwork, Autocad & GearTeq skills
Demonstrate a high level of credibility & professionalism coupled with excellent communication skills; references showing these qualities will be required.
Advanced computing skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
Ability to work within a team whilst also being adaptable to work autonomously from time to time as required.
