Christmas Creek - Fortescue's Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

8D/6OFF – FIFO ex Perth
In this role you will support the Mechanical, Electrical and Operations team to be efficient in completing their planned tasks.
The role will ensure the teams have their materials prepared for the days planned tasks as well as assisting in any prep work so the field team have maximum tool time. They will also ensure the laydown yard is managed and kept in an organized manner and assist the teams to move assets around the yard when necessary. They will also assist in the day to day returns of materials surplus to supply. They are also responsible for ensuring the ERP system (SAP) is up to date by completing regular audits and raising Master Data Notifications in SAP to rectify any discrepancies.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety
* Monitor and maintain an adequate supply of standby assets, raising notifications for replenishment if needed.
* Operate the flatbed truck to assist in asset change outs, unloading, and placing assets in the correct location in the laydown yard.
* Conduct asset audits and promptly address any discrepancies through master data notifications.
* Liaise with the warehouse and assist in the return of excess materials as a return to stock consumables, C3 return and disposals.
* Load and unload deliveries to the yard using forklifts, loaders, or cranes.
* Deliver assets and materials to job sites, ensuring they are ready for the field teams to execute their tasks.
* Manage the proper supply of service fluids and waste in compliance with regulations
* Attend asset management-related meetings as required and diligently execute tasks assigned during these meetings.
* Uphold laydown safety standards, oversee traffic management, and ensure compliance with road and windrow regulations, collaborating with mine support when necessary.
Qualifications And Experience
* At least 3 years in a mining role with experience in material handling and familiarity with assets used at Chichester Water Management.
* Current WA C Class Drivers Licence (HR license would be advantageous)
* High Risk Forklift (LF) Licence
* Experience in mining procurement/warehouse logistics
* Good communication skills and experience dealing with equipment / transport vendors
* Experience in SAP functionality and Microsoft suite is essential
* An understanding of and experience in purchasing
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft suite such as Word, Excel and Outlook
* Experience operating a loader, franna and forklift is advantageous
