Base pay range
A$180,000.00/yr - A$200,000.00/yr
CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's team, delivering a portfolio of Defence projects across Darwin, NT .
This role will oversee end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget and to required quality standards.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage stakeholders at all levels, and drive strong commercial, contractual and project performance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage planning, execution and delivery of construction projects up to $30M.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts and resourcing plans.
* Oversee contract administration, commercial performance and risk management.
* Ensure safety, environmental and quality requirements are met across all works.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
* Prepare and present progress reports, performance updates and project documentation.
* Lead and mentor a high‑performing project team, promoting a positive culture.
* Implement effective project strategies across procurement, engineering and construction.
* Conduct regular reviews, identify issues early and initiate corrective actions.
Our Ideal Candidate
* Degree‑qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or similar.
* Minimum 10 years' project management experience within the construction industry.
* Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
* Strong understanding of contractual, legal and commercial project requirements.
* Advanced financial management capability including forecasting and cost controls.
* Experience delivering projects $10M+ (Defence or Government works advantageous).
* Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and make informed decisions.
* Proficiency with project software such as Procore, MS Project or Primavera P6.
* Construction White Card required.
