About The Role

Curtin University is recruiting a Digital Communications Coordinator to provide parental leave cover within the Digital Student Engagement team. As the Digital Communications Coordinator, you'll play a key role in shaping the digital experience for Curtin's current students. This is a great opportunity to step into an established role and make an immediate impact on the digital experience of Curtin's student community.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and produce signage content to support key stages of the student lifecycle across Curtin's digital screen network.
* Create and deliver engaging digital content for the campus-wide screen network, ensuring all communications align with Curtin University brand guidelines.
* Collaborate with teams across the University to support their digital communication needs through the screen network.
* Maintain and improve the Curtin Current Students website by editing, reviewing and approving content to ensure accuracy, usability and best practice.
* Monitor website performance using analytics tools and apply SEO techniques to improve visibility and user experience.
* Conduct regular quality checks to identify and resolve broken links, typos and usability issues.
* Work with Digital Technology Solutions to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the screen network and Current Students website.
* Provide training and support to internal teams using the screen network or Current Students website.

Who we are looking for

You're a proactive digital communicator who enjoys creating content that informs, engages and improves the student experience. You're organised, collaborative and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will bring

* Experience managing and maintaining websites, with a strong focus on accuracy, usability and content quality.
* The ability to plan, implement and evaluate communication or engagement activities that deliver results.
* Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience developing clear and engaging digital content.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks while meeting deadlines.
* A collaborative approach, with well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Role Requirements

* As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
* Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin's satisfaction

This fixed-term G06 level role attracts a remuneration of $96,323 - $102,186 per annum, plus 17% superannuation.
