A career opportunity: Wind Farm Technician (Electrical)
We have an opportunity for a Wind Turbine Technician to join the team at the Woolnorth Wind farms. This role is a key part of a small team maintaining, operating and improving Wind Turbines and associated plant and equipment.
Generally working pairs as part of a small team, you will be responsible for servicing, routine and non-routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of wind farm components and related record-keeping.
Working an 8-on/6-off roster, you can enjoy work-life balance with the option for paid overtime.
Please note that it is a requirement that successful candidates live in (or can imminently relocate to) Circular Head in far north-western Tasmania.
About you:

Our ideal candidate has:
* A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
* A current Electrical trade qualification
* At least 2 years' experience working in an electrical trade environment, ideally working with wind turbines or industrial equipment
* The ability to work at heights
* High voltage training and experience
* Good communication skills, a positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
This role requires working at heights, manoeuvring in confined spaces and is physical in nature. The successful applicant will require the physical capacity to undertake the work and to work at heights.
